Stanton is a proudly independent PR agency with a 30-year history of helping clients inform, influence and inspire through strategic communication. If you are a media relations professional with 2-4 years of agency or in-house experience, we want to hear from you. Only candidates with a minimum of 2-4 years of full-time experience should apply.

Account Executive responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies for meaningful proactive engagement with a range of traditional and new media outlets, including print, television, radio, trade and policy publications, podcasts and blogs.
  • Interacting directly with press contacts, creating opportunities for coverage and managing interview logistics.
  • Preparing impactful written communication including positioning language, messaging, press releases, media pitches, media analysis and other marketing materials.
  • Engaging client audiences through online media and social networks.
  • Sharing our dedication to quality work and premium client service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in media relations and the following qualities:

  • Proven history of securing media coverage in a range of print, online and broadcast outlets.
  • Superior writing, oral communication and research skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute simultaneous projects on behalf of multiple clients
  • Experience working directly with clients to coordinate complex programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the use of social media, social networking applications and other online communication platforms in a professional environment.
  • Proactive work style, attention to detail, and an ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
