The CES show floor officially opened today as hundreds of thousands of attendees gathered to experience the latest innovations in the technology industry. With 3.2 million square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center entirely booked, we have a lot of ground to cover this week. The exhibition space is broken down into three distinct areas:
Tech East at the Las Vegas Convention Center will showcase the latest
innovations in:
- Audio
- Automotive Electronics
- Gaming
- Video
- Wireless Devices
- Wireless Services
- Digital Imaging/Photography

Tech West will feature technologies that will impact consumers’ daily lives with innovations in:
- Emerging Technology
- Fitness and Health
- The Internet of Things
- Smart Homes
Tech South, the newest official show location for 2016, will offer activities for the advertising and marketing communities, including:
- Conference Sessions
- Networking Events
- Exhibits and Meeting Rooms
We expect drones, wearables, TVs, virtual reality and smart home technology to be a major focus this year. Check out our Trends to Watch at CES 2016 post for what we’ll be watching throughout the week. Those not in attendance also can experience the show in real time on the CES 2016 site, which will feature the latest major announcements, keynotes and press conferences.
