What it Means to Be Elite

“Elite” is a word that is somewhat fraught in today’s environment and certainly could be interpreted as negative. Our view is simply this—if a panel of judges considers our work as representative of the best in our industry, then we are justifiably proud that they might label us elite.  

Stanton Communications was named this month one of the Agency Elite Top 100 by PR News, a leading journal of information and commentary about the communications industry. The recognition comes as Stanton enters its 31st year with a sustained upward growth trend now extending more than 18 months.  At a time when many firms in the communications industry are furloughing or outright terminating staff in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stanton recently added staff with a continued emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion. 

Each year, PR News’ Agency Elite Top 100 listing recognizes firms that deliver exceptional client service and impactful campaigns across a broad spectrum of industries. Communications professionals within corporations, agencies and nonprofits also are honored. Stanton enters the ranking at a time when the firm is adding new clients, growing existing client engagements and increasing its international business through a new joint venture and the firm’s involvement in two global networks of independent agencies.
